One product, two interfaces
GUI and CLI are included under the same license when available in your covered release. Plans differ by commercial user scope and support, not by planning level.
Provider costs are separate
Day Shift does not include inference credits or a coding-agent subscription. Bring your own provider connection and coding tools, and pay their charges separately.

Concrete entitlement example
Buy your covered release line once. Upgrade when you choose.
A release-line license is perpetual for the version it covers. It is not a subscription and it does not silently extend to a newer release line.
Purchase
Purchase Solo Commercial for Day Shift 0.3.x.
Included Release
The license covers the current download, Day Shift 0.3.3, and all patch releases in 0.3.x.
Perpetual Use
You may keep using the covered 0.3.x release line perpetually for the licensed commercial use.
Later Release
A later release line requires separate coverage; it is not included in the 0.3.x entitlement.
Optional Upgrade
Upgrading is optional: remain on your covered release line or verify an eligible prior license for the 50% upgrade price. Prior 0.1.x or 0.2.x coverage qualifies for an upgrade to 0.3.x.
Repository Ownership
Your repository artifacts remain yours whether or not you upgrade; Day Shift does not lock, remove, or claim them.
Verification
The signed license file is verified locally, so normal covered use does not require online activation.
Reminder Behavior
A valid covered license suppresses commercial reminders for 0.3.x; evaluation use or an install outside the covered release line continues to show them.
Support
Self-service documentation remains available to everyone; paid plans include Discord help for purchase and license-delivery issues, while broader support is optional or separately agreed.

Already have a license for an earlier release line? Check your eligibility before purchasing an upgrade.
Release-line coverage
A paid license covers a signed release line, including patch updates inside that line.
Discounted upgrade path
Eligible prior release-line licenses qualify for a 50% upgrade price after verification. Your covered release remains yours to use.
No online activation for normal use
The installed CLI verifies signed license files locally after installation.
